ATASS Sports played host to a team of students from Lancaster University this week, as part of the STOR-i Doctoral Training Course. The students were invited to take part in an interactive problem solving workshop over two days, where they got to predict sporting events in real time with the supervision of our expert researchers, and of course, joined staff in the evening for some social football watching and board games.
STOR-i is a four-year doctoral training programme with a ground-breaking approach to statistics and operational research. The programme benefits from close links with industry partners and commercial operations and we were delighted to hold the two-day workshop.
